Other than that, I’ll give Twitterrific for Mac 3.5/4 stars. It does not feel clogged, which is what the top of the Twitterrific for Mac timeline looks like. However, the Tapbots’s Tweetbot for Mac, in my opinion, has the best design when it comes to Twitter apps. The only con I see from it is that it would be nice to be able to move the timeline, messages, and hearts bar to the side since that is how a lot of other Twitter apps work and it would help clean-up the timeline just a tad. It has a great “update” sound to it and sounds a lot better than Tweetbot’s (their competitor). One thing that I also liked about this app is the tiny sound that it makes whenever users post a tweet. Their iOS app has a lot more choices than the macOS version. there are not many choices right now, but the regular logo (see image above) and the Project Phoenix logo. Twitterrific was also my first Mac app where you can change the app icon. I have personally not used the Dark Mode, but have seen a positive response from users. Twitter’s Mac to this day still does not support that.Īnother feature that Twitterrific has is that the app has a dark mode.
The second, and most important, with Twitterrific, users can use the 280 characters feature that Twitter added last fall. The first is that the design is a lot cleaner and more fluid than Twitter.
